Richard Terella Obituary

Richard (Dick) Charles Terella 73 of Village Mills passed away on January 22nd.  He entered into glory with his beloved wife and four children surrounding him with love.

He was born September 18, 1947 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Reginald Charles Terella and Jeanette Elaine Stevenson Terella.

He was an amazing Husband, Dad and Grampa! His main line of work in his earlier years was a backhoe operator in Southern California. He worked with his dad and brother for several years until he moved on to work for Gary Herman and continue to run a backhoe. He loved to take his kids for a ride on his backhoe when he would bring it home.  Later he went to work as a Supervisor for Caltrans in California. He later moved to Texas to enjoy his retirement years. He loved sports, (if his team was winning), especially the LA Lakers! He enjoyed riding his bike, watching his Grandkids and Great Grandkids play sports.  He loved movies, popcorn and there was nothing like his daily Bluebell ice cream!

His wife was the love of his life and he could hardly stand to be apart from her. He was all about family and spending time together. He was a member of New Covenant Assembly of God Church in Silsbee, TX.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Pamela Wachtveitl Terella, daughter Lisa McDaniel and husband Sean of Whittier, CA, daughter Deena Blizzard and husband Jeff of Beaumont, TX, daughter Renae Rosa and husband Nick of Saratoga, TX, son Andrew Terella of Lake Elsinore, CA. Grandchildren, Ashley & Tyler Hoppe, Taylor & Steve Mortensen, Holli McDaniel, Christy & Jeremy Vanya, Amanda & Brock Clements, Carissa & Jordan Free, Ashley & Shelby Lamberth, Richard Rosa, Dylan Terella, Kaysi Pilcher and Alexis Terella, 12 greatgrandchildren, sisters Debbie Coffman, Judy Terella, & Linda Ordonez, brother Ronald Terella, his Uncle Bruce Stevenson and a host of other family and friends.

Richard (Dick) Terella is preceded in death by his father Reginald Charles Terella and mother Jeanette Elaine Terella.
