Robert "Robby" McNeil

Robert Ardean McNeil (Robby), 51, of Silsbee passed away December 31, 2023. He was born October 18, 1972 in Kirbyville, Texas to Linda Carolyn McShan and the late Robert Elton McNeil Jr.

Robert was a longtime resident of Silsbee graduating with the class of 1991, living here for a total of 51 years. He married his wife Rhonda shortly after high school on May 8, 1992 at St. Marks. Robert was a hard-working man working for 35 combined years at Brookshire Brothers, LP, Thermwell, and then 11 years at Westrock. He worked hard so he could take his family on the vacations they always wanted. When he wasn’t working, he was coaching little league, sitting by a fire surrounded by family and friends, collecting knives and all sorts of eagle collectables, listening to country music, and making sure he caught every wrestling event on tv. Robert was most passionate about his family and teaching his boys to live life to the fullest. Robert was a loving husband, father, PaPa, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.      

He is preceded by his father; sister Kimberly McNeil, brother, Matthew McNeil; father-in-love, Robert Shaffer; mother-in-love Jean Shaffer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda McNeil; sons, Quentin McNeil, Tracin McNeil, Justin Tauzin and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Brylin Tauzin, Aria McNeil, Jaxsyn Tauzin, Riley Perrin; fur baby Hurley McNeil; loving and devoted friend Johnny Jeans; and a host of other family members and friends.
