Robert “Bob” Hobson, 74, of Sour Lake passed away Monday April 14, 2025, in Beaumont. He was born on Sunday, July 23, 1950, in Beaumont to the late William Temple Hobson Jr. and Adonia Margaret Scott Hobson.
Bob was a versatile participant in many organizations and hobbies such as, a member of the Patriot Guard, as a ride captain, Kountze and Silsbee police officer, a Correctional Officer at TDCJ, a member of the Snow River Masonic Lodge #385, and he also enjoyed, hunting, and fishing. He served in the Army during Vietnam and served in Thailand when he was active duty in the Navy.
He is preceded in death by both parents, and brother, James Hobson.
Bob is survived by his niece Kristi Knauth and her husband Patrick, nephew Jim Hobson and his wife DeeDee, his sister-n-law Bettie Hobson, and a host of other family members and friends.
