Roger Price

Funeral services for Roger Dale Price, 76, of Silsbee, will be 7:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Price passed away January 19, 2021 at his home in Silsbee.  

Roger was born January 31, 1944 in Sardis, Oklahoma to Raymond Lee and Florence Evadena Grammer Price.   He worked for Mobil Oil and was transferred to Southeast Texas, before settling his family in Silsbee in 1983. He served his country in the US Navy and was proud that his son and two grandsons followed in his military footsteps. Mr. Price was a musician, played many instruments and sang in the choir at First United Methodist Church of Silsbee. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, camping and even yard work!

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Oleta Goforth, Norma Jean Poore, Truman Price and Wanda Price.

He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Karen Moody Price; his children Julia & husband Joe Vickery, Kevin & wife Tammy Price, Kenneth Shane Price, and Shanna & husband Billy Bradley. Also surviving him are grandchildren MyKalynn & Terry Penny, Eiljah Rowland Vickery, Matthew Vickery, Kristen Vickery, Marissa & Jacob Martin, Megan Price & fiance' Chris Campos, Isabella Price, Graison Price & Nicole, Brandon Bradley, Jaret Bradley and Maggie Bradley, along with several great-grandchilden.

His siblings, Winona Kimber, James & wife Kathy Price and Stanley & wife Bridget Price also survive him.

Roger loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
