Ronald Wade Jordan, 66, of Montgomery, Tx, entered peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on 6-15-2023. He died with his wife of 25 years, Melanie, at his side.
Ron was born in Kountze, Texas to Fred and Betty Jordan. Fred was an executive with Southwestern Bell Corporation and Ron followed in his footsteps. Ron was an excellent golfer, and he met Melanie at a golf tournament in Montgomery, Texas in 1994. It was love at first sight for both of them. They were married in 1998 and would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on September 5th.
About a year ago, Ron was drawn by God to trust in his Son, Jesus Christ, and he committed his life to following him as his personal Lord and Savior.
Ron and Melanie worshipped God together as members of the body of Christ at Lakeside Bible Church, in Montgomery, Texas.
Ron’s passing was extremely sudden and unexpected. We will miss his keen sense of humor, his devotion to family, his generosity and loyalty to friends.
Ron was preceded by his parents, Fred and Betty Jordan of Silsbee, Texas. He is survived by his wife Melanie of Montgomery, Texas; his brother, Randall, and wife, Mary of Hemphill, Texas; his cousin, Thomas Wade Jordan, of Houston, Texas; his nephew John Jordan, wife, Tiffany and son, Jullian; his niece, Alana Mills of Aberdeen, Scotland; his nephew, Troy Knight of Lakeland, Fl. Ron has a large extended family in Huntsville, Texas.
