Roy Lynn Green

Roy Lynn Green, 51, of Silsbee passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was born May 17, 1968 in Trinity County, Texas.

Roy served his country for 6 years in the United States Army with distinguished honors. He was stationed in Germany for the majority of his military service. Roy loved the outdoors and doing outside work. He also enjoyed cooking.

Roy is survived by his son, Roy Green and his son’s mother, Simone Green-Mayer, both of Germany. He is also survived by his father, Jessy Green of Silsbee and three sisters, Patsy Lamb and Ed Coppage of Silsbee, Sheila Newton and husband Trey of Marysville, Indiana and Susan Mares and husband Mark of Austin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Verble Jones Green.  Roy was so loved and will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, it was Roy’s wishes for donations to be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Southeast Texas, 2400 Augusta Dr., Ste 252, Houston, TX 77057.

Due to COVID-19, there will be a private family graveside service with military honors. Burial will be at Town Bluff Cemetery.

Services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
