Roy "Denny" King

Roy “Denny” King, 50, of Kirbyville, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born, and lived most of his life, in Silsbee, to Denton and Evelyn (Bigford) King on Tuesday, September 17, 1974.

Denny was a roughneck and welder for most of his working career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, and a large variety of music. He will be remembered for his love of family and friends, and will forever remain a loving son, father, brother, and grandfather.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Ilene McCarty, and her husband, Christian; son, Keaton Ryan King, and his wife, Hannah; granddaughter, London; mother, Evelyn Harris; sisters, Terri Hinz and Lisa McGinty, and her husband, Ricky; brothers, Wade King and Tracy King, and his wife, Sonia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Denton King; and his brother, Todd King.
