Sharon Lynn "Lou" Powell Benavides, 65, of Silsbee passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Baptist hospital in Beaumont. She was born on Monday, September 14, 1959, to Jim and Verna Powell.
She is preceded in death by her father Jim Powell, brother Ricky Powell, and husband Tom Benavides.
Sharon is survived by her mother Verna Powell; brother Dale Powell; sons Corey Sterling, Joey Sterling and wife Beth; grandchildren, Shelby Sterling, Colton Sterling, Jacob Sterling, Becca Sterling; and a host of other family members and friends.
Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
