Sharon Kay Ferguson Wright, age 69, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most. Born on October 10, 1955, Sharon lived a life full of love, strength, and deep devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of Wallace G. Wright and the proud mother of six children: Christina Kay Ally, Jana Lynn Crosson, Ernest Edward Gill, Amber LeAnn Gill, Dustin Allen Gill, and the late Selina Elizabeth Crosson; and step-sons, Adam and Russell Wright. Sharon deeply loved her grandchildren: Sharon, Jesse, Junior, Mariana, Ramiro, Brittany, Brian, CJ, Cole, Karson, Brooklyn, Presley, Rylee, Chasidy, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Kayden.
She will also be lovingly remembered through her great-grandchildren, who brought new joy and light to her life.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: Edward Ferguson, Diana Foux, and Sandy Foux, all of whom shared lifelong bonds of love and support with her.
Sharon loved the simple joys in life—especially spending time on the water fishing and boating with her husband and her fur babies. She also enjoyed going thrift shopping, camping, relaxing at the beach, and searching for sea glass. These small adventures brought her peace, excitement, and a sense of discovery that she treasured.
Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of her unwavering love for her family. Her strength, generous spirit, and gentle heart touched everyone she met. Though she has left this world, her love and legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew her best.
