Shirley Ann (Keeton) Hankamer

Shirley Ann Hankamer, 82, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born February 16, 1938 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Albert L. Keeton and Annie Bailey Keeton.

Shirley lived in Longview for 10 years until she recently returned to be closer to her hometown of Beaumont. Her family described her as a woman who wasn’t afraid to tell you how it was and did not mince words. Although she was a headstrong woman, she loved her family. She liked hunting and fishing, eating, lottery scratch offs, and bingo. She will be missed!

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph Hankamer; daughter, Darlene Taylor Gilbert; and two grandchildren, Larry Matthews and Ty Taylor.

Shirley is survived by her children, Beth Taylor Buckner and husband Jack Daniels, Butch Taylor and wife Kim, Paul Elton Rogers and wife Deana, Michael Murray Rogers; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service for Shirley will be held at 3PM Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Winnie.
