Stephen Voshell Boston

Stephen Voshell Boston was born in Milford, Delaware on April 3, 1941, and passed on December 9th, 2021 in Houston, TX. Preceded in death by parents Josiah and Reva, sister Sandra, and wife Bonnie, Stephen was a lifelong educator who graduated from Lamar University. Starting in 1968 he taught Government and History at French High School, West Brook High School, and retired from West Sabine High School in 2017. Prior to teaching he served in the US Army. A lover of history, he enjoyed nothing more than visiting a battlefield or finding a historical non-fiction book he had not read. Even as a child, every family road trip involved at least one stop at a historical battlefield. He is survived by his stepchildren Tina, Marty, and Sara, their spouses Jim, Kristi, and Inar, his grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Martin, Silvia, Jacob, Camryn, Lilla, Jaxson, and Mason, his great granddaughter Charleigh, his nephews Randall, Stephen, and Chris, Randall’s wife Christina, great nieces Alex, Kayla, Allison, and Katie, his great great nephew Myles, and his beloved furry companion Chucky.

Funeral services will be performed at Farmers Funeral Home on December 16th at 2 pm, Graveside service to follow.
