Taylor Lynn Casteel, 34, of Nederland, born June 2, 1988 to Vicki Scritchfield Guidry and Mark Casteel, left her earthly body to rest in Jesus on Friday, April 14, 2023.
To know Taylor was to truly love her in all of her forms. Thelove she had for her family was immense but none more so than the love she had for her beautiful daughter. She was her pride and joy. Taylor's personality was unmatched, something that could not be contained, and cannot be defined by wordsalone, as every moment with her was animated and full of energy. There isn't a song she didn't know word for word thatwouldn't cause her to break into song and dance; anytime, anywhere. Day trips to the beach and expeditions with the "Funky Bunch" will never be the same without her presence. The light Taylor Lynn brought to her loved ones lives, especially her mother's, will be cherished and missed indefinitely.
-"Her life but a bud near to bloom. What could have become of her short-lived life was cut short too soon."
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Connie and Kenneth Scritchfield, Volna and Wayne Casteel; and one uncle, Dwain Casteel.
