Thelma “Sally” Caillier, 83, of Lumberton, passed away on May 21, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas while surrounded by family.
Visitation will be 10:00am to 12:00, Monday, May 24th at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at Farmer Funeral Home on the same day at 12:00, officiated by Pastor Laurie Smith. Graveside service will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park.
Sally was born in Anacoco, Louisiana to Kit and Pearl Sewell on January 12, 1938. She graduated from Deweyville High School. She married Ray Caillier and remained happily married for more than thirty years. Sally loved music. She enjoyed singing and playing her guitar with friends. She enjoyed playing dominos and working with crafts. More than anything, though, Sally loved her family. Memaw, as her grandchildren and great grandchildren knew her, loved large family gatherings and spending time with her family. She was so very proud of her family.
Sally is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Caillier, her parents, Kit and Pearl Sewell, her brother, Fred Charles Sewell; her sister, Melba Busby; and her grandson, Parker Chase Bolton.
Sally is survived by her children, Chuck Barbre, Raymond Barbre with wife Laura, and Charlotte Jensonne with husband Mike; her grandchildren, Chelle Harrison with husband Jamey, Kelle Brown with husband Matt, Steele Bolton, Nikki McDonald with husband Jason, Chad Barbre with wife Chelsea, Ryan Barbre, and Jessica Barbre; and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Jett Harrison, Braxton Kiamar, Brenten and Juliet Brown, Mason Gatlin, Jace and Dax McDonald, Brady and Bella Barbre.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Barbre, Raymond Barbre, Chad Barbre, Ryan Barbre, Steele Bolton, Matt Brown, Jamey Harrison, Mason Gatlin, Jackson Harrison, Jett Harrison, Jace McDonald, Honorary Braxton Kiamar, Brenten Brown and Dax McDonald.
We would like to extend our overwhelming thanks to Harbor Hospice and their amazing nursing staff and to all family and friends who provided love, food, care and prayers for our family and mom. Our family is forever grateful.
