Thomas West

Thomas West, 79, of Silsbee, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Thomas was born on December 19, 1946, in Hardin County to A.V. and Maggie West. He loved fishing, traveling, and listening to music. Most of all, Thomas loved attending his church and serving the Lord. He wasn’t ashamed of his faith and would throw a prayer on you in a minute. Thomas might not have been understood by most while here, but now he worships clearly, walks without assistance, and is dancing better than any of us.

1987 changed Thomas’s life for a long time, and on March 21st, 2026, his life was changed for eternity. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, James West, Roy West, Leo West, Vernon West, and Dell West; and one sister, Barbara Young (West).

Survivors include his sister, Patricia Crawford; his children; his nieces, nephews and numerous grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Survivors also include his great-nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
