Timmy Andrew Jenkins

Timmy Andrew Jenkins, 61, of Silsbee, TX passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont following a brief illness.  Timothy was born February 13, 1959 in Kountze, TX to the late Daniel “Brookie” and Francis Jenkins.

 

On February 14, 1987 he married Marsha J Jenkins, who preceded him in death on June 16, 2011.  Tim, a jack-of-all-trades, spent 26 years in Eldred, PA where he worked as a logger.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering with anything with an engine.  He took pride in his ability to barter and befriend anyone he met.  In 2011, Tim returned to Texas to care for his mom and lived there until his death.

 

Surviving Tim are 3 daughters, Melissa (Lynn) Reese of Silsbee, Bobbie (Scott) Bosworth of Port Alleghany PA and Brandie (Craig) Cobb of Coudersport PA; son Scott (Jennifer) Nickerson of Rixford PA; brother Daniel Jenkins Jr of Newton; 4 sisters Kathy (Mark) Moss of Thicket, Ronda Lynn (Roy) Brown of Saratoga, Ricky Ann Jenkins of Buna and Sheila (Yankee) Sanders of Buna.  He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

A private memorial service was held June 16, 2020.
