Van Arthur Ratliff

Van Arthur Ratliff, 77, of Buna passed away Wednesday September 11, 2024. He was born February 21, 1947, in Corsicana, Texas to the late Van A. Ratliff and Jean Marie Ronning Ratliff.

Van was a beloved family man and man of God. He served as a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church in Buna, Texas. He made his career in structural steel fabrication where, along with his brother Mike, founded the family company, Ratliff Industries in Lumberton, Texas. He was a hot rodder, drag racer and bass fisherman.

He touched the lives of many people. His family, friends and co-workers will cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by, both parents and his daughter Vanessa Ratliff.

Left to cherish his memory is, his loving wife of 59 years, Judy Ratliff; sons, Robbie Ratliff and wife Lisa, and Josh Ratliff and wife Angie; grandchildren, Alex Dunlap, Bree Ratliff Katie Dunlap, Kyle Richardson, Noah Ratliff, and Emma Ratliff; great great grandchild, Nolan Braley; brother Mike Ratliff; sister, Angie Kastle; and a host of other family members and friends.
