Vena (McIntyre) Boyett

On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Vena Boyett, loving wife, and mother of two children, passed away surrounded by her family, at the age of 75.

Vena was born on August 23, 1946 in Beaumont, TX to Durel and Pat McIntyre.  On March 1, 1963, she married Dalbert (Dale) Dean Boyett. They raised one son, Dale Jr., and one daughter, Barbara.

Vena is remembered for always making sure her family was taken care of, and we all agree that she made the best Chicken & Sausage Gumbo anywhere.  She took on the role of second mother to anyone who needed one.  She will be greatly missed. 

Vena was preceded in death by her mother Pat father Durel, her brothers Robert, Bubba, and Buster, and her sister Patricia. She is survived by her husband Dale, and their two children, Barbie and Dale Jr., and her siblings, Mary and Randy.

The Viewing will be held at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 9:00 AM.  The Funeral Service will be held at the same location at 10:00 AM.  Flowers or donations for Freeway Baptist Church Bible Program may be sent to.
