Virginia Susan (Wilson) Kimmel

Virginia Susan Kimmel, 76, of Silsbee passed away Saturday December 7, 2019. She was born November 29, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Tony George and Gertrude Wilson.

Virginia loved reading, garage sale shopping, goodwill and thrift store shopping, bingo, and also crochet. She had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed going on trips to the lake house.

She is survived by her daughters; Rose Stocking of Michigan, Lisa Jackson of Ohio, Terri Vargas of New Jersey, Dawn Skinner and husband Wayne of Silsbee; her son, Steven Kimmel and wife Chrissy of Tomball; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Virginia is preceded in death by her daughter Tammy McDaniel; and her sons, Thomas “Tommy” Denzel Avery and Johnie Kimmel.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held at 2PM Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Silsbee.

Cremation services were held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
