Walter "Allen" Sherman

Walter "Allen" Sherman, 37, of Kountze passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. He was born February 23, 1983 in Beaumont, Texas to Walter Michael Sherman and Theresa Ann Wallace. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley & Ouida Sherman, Ben Wallace, Clifton and Mary Jane Jenkins. Allen is survived by his wife, Kayla Sherman of Kountze Tx; hs children: Jacelyne Sherman of Kountze Tx, Nathan Sherman, Karly Sherman, and Leelynd Sherman, all of Chandler, TX, Leah McCowan of Bridge City Tx, and Kharley Watkins of Beaumont Tx, He is also survived by his father, Mike Sherman of South Toledo Bend Tx, mother and stepfather Dudley & Theresa Jenkins of Kountze TX,  brother, Clint Casfell and wife Dawn of Kountze Tx and his grandmother Betty Wallace of Vidor, TX.

Allen had a deep love of hunting and fishing and went as often as he could.  He loved his wife and kids beyond measure. Allen thought the sun rose and set in Kayla's eyes and his kids were his world.

A graveside service will be held at 3PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
