Born on February 12, 1938, Weida was the cherished daughter of Lela Mae and Ernest Hutto, who preceded her in death. From an early age, Weida carried within her a resilient spirit, a steady faith, and a heart devoted to family. For the past 50 years, Weida shared a devoted and enduring marriage with her beloved husband, Allen Ray Toney of Silsbee. Their half-century together was a stament to commitment, companionship, and deep, abiding love. Through life’s seasons, they stood side by side building a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.

Her greatest pride and deepest joy were her children: Cassie Hare, James Thompson, Maetha DeBretagne, and Joyce (Gina) Gallups. Through them, her legacy grew and flourished. She was a proud grandmother to Tori Logback, Wendy McGallion, Cody Thompson, Ashlea DeBretagne, Jennifer Tweedel, Lacey Johnson, Heather Beck, and Allen Beck. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart. Weida was also blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, a living testament to the strong foundation of love, resilience, and faith she built throughout her life. To them, she was more than a matriarch; she was warmth, wisdom, comfort, and unconditional love.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steadfast devotion to family, and the quiet grace with which she lived. She taught by example, showing that kindness matters, family is everything, and love is the greatest legacy one can leave behind. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she poured into her family will continue to echo through generations. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a gift that will never fade. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
