Weldon was born on Monday, November 20, 1967, in Kountze, Texas to parents, Linda Jo (Richardson) and William Aldy. Weldon was a very hard worker and was very loved and respected by everyone that he met along the way. He made his career working as a safety man for a company by the name of “HEMI”, as well as, a few other places in his life. Weldon was a true family man who enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones every chance that he got. Weldon met the love of his life when he came to know Becki. The couple shared 17 blissful years of marriage together, but were together for 18 years. Weldon and Becki were the true definition of, “Best Friends”. They did everything together and preferred to always be around one another, while enjoying the life they had built together. The couple enjoyed spur of the moment trips that kept life interesting. It was a common occurrence to be walking through the house, pick up a bag, toss a few clothes in and leave for the weekend and just head whatever way the road winded; just the two of them. Weldon had a passion for cooking and did so every chance that he got to. When it came to family gatherings, Weldon always did all of the cooking and was most famous for his Spring crawfish boils. Whether or not everyone was capable and regardless of the situation, he was going to absolutely make sure that the show went on and everyone was able to attend another family cook out.

Weldon was a son, father, brother, grandfather, cousin and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Weldon is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Becki Aldy; children, David Aldy, Blake Ward, April McMillan and Telie Aldy; Dad, Curtis Pinder; brother, Curtis and Donna Potts; father, Larry Turner; half brother, Bull Turner; half sisters, Missy Guillory and Pamela Turner; close cousins, Jayson and Malinda Mitchell and Albert and Melissa Morris, as well as, 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters.

Weldon is preceded by his mother, Linda Jo Richardson.
