Willessa "Lessa" Richardson

Willessa “Lessa” Richardson, 48, of Beaumont, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026. She was born to Willie Edward Richardson and Lois Denise Davis Richardson.

                Known to those who loved her as Lessa, she will be most fondly remembered for the love she poured out onto her family, especially her niece and nephew, Melody and Dalton. In the face of her adversity, Lessa never stopped spoiling them. Her sweet pup, Bella, never lacked love and was her constant companion. Her generous spirit continued to show through her love of cooking, and she was known to her family as a wonderful cook. Family was foremost in Lessa’s life. In her younger years, she enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and being outdoors with her dad. Coffee on the porch with her sisters, and spoiling Melody and Dalton filled her days with joy. Lessa herself had a passion for fashion, shopping, shoes, and purses! Her closet was filled with beautiful pieces that expressed her vibrant soul. A lover of nature, she spent her quieter moments feeding and watching birds and, by a welcome accident, the squirrels. Her spirit of adventure led her to travel, with New Orleans holding a special place in her heart.  Her generosity, loving nature, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

                She is survived by her father, Willie Edward Richardson; sisters, Tammy and Vanessa Richardson; nephew, Dalton Luu; niece, Melody Luu. She is preceded by her mother, Lois Denise Davis Richardson, and a host of other family and friends.
