William Bentley “Ben” Breedlove was born July 21, 1960 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Glenn and Martha Breedlove. He later moved to Lumberton, Texas where he graduated Lumberton High School in 1978. He passed February 16, 2021 at the age of 60.
Ben worked various jobs ranging from working on tugboats to driving 18 wheelers across the nation. He was later a certified ASE mechanic owning his own shop and finally working for Triangle Recourses.
Some of the things he loved to do were hunting and fishing, especially on Toledo Bend. He also had a passion for motorcycles. There was never a silent moment with Ben as he was always ready with stories about his recent activities and adventures. Ben was loved so much by his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn William Breedlove; and sister Maria Nannette Breedlove.
Ben is survived by his sons, Anthony William and Larry Glenn Breedlove; daughter Crystal Nannette Carlisle; mother, Martha Ann Breedlove; brothers, Michael Lane and Richard Glenn Breedlove; ten grandchildren: Kaleb, Katie, and David Breedlove, Malorie, Mackenzie, Landon, and Emma Carlisle, and Kiel, Laila, and Liam Breedlove; and numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service to honor Ben’s life will be held at 7PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home.
