William Thomas "Bill" Tutt went to his heavenly reward on June 25th, 2023. Bill was born on February 14th, 1938, in Longview, Texas to Olga and Otis Tutt. He was the middle of 3 sons. The family moved to Beaumont, Texas where Bill attended schools and graduated from Beaumont High in 1957. He then attended Lamar Tech.
He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963. Following his discharge, he worked at DuPont Beaumont Works until his retirement.
In 1964 he married Joyce Ann Shofner. They raised their 2 children Eric and Kerri in Silsbee. After retirement, Bill began a second career in Laser Technology. He graduated from TSTC in Waco in 1988 and later became an instructor there. Bill lost his first love Joyce, and the lord blessed him with his second love Diane Brocato. Diane joined him when he began his second career as an instructor at TSTC in Waco.
Bill was a faithful follower of the Lord. He served the Lord as a deacon, choir member, Sunday School teacher and numerous other ways.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Olga Tutt, his two brothers, Carlos and George; and his first wife Joyce.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Eric of Anahuac, Texas; daughter, Kerri Wenger and husband Burt of Bandera, Texas. stepdaughter, Missy Brocato of College Station; stepson, Marcus Brocato and Wife Holly of Hutto, Texas. He is survived by the following grandchildren: Tyler and Tanner Tutt, Tiffany Scheppler and husband Blane, Jacob Wenger, Sarah Wenger, Robby Wenger, Matt Jenkins and wife Alyssa, Mason Slaughter, Mickaela Slaughter, Isabella Brocato, and great grandchildren, Levi and Brayden. Bill was beloved by many other nieces and nephews.
