William "Bill" Gieseke Sr.

William "Bill" Reid Gieseke, 87, of Silsbee, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

William "Bill" was born on September 13, 1938, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, to William and Jennie Gieseke. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1962. He married Virginia Payne, and together they built a family and loving home during their 42 years of marriage until she passed away in 2004. Bill enjoyed stamp and coin collecting. He owned and operated William R. Gieseke Accounting and CPA in Silsbee until his retirement. Bill married his second wife, Sally Gieseke, later in life, and they were married for 20 years. Bill was loved by many and will be missed.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia Gieseke; one daughter, Deborah Gieseke; one sister; and his second wife, Salina Pitts Gieseke.

Survivors include his daughter, Catherine Williams; his two sons, William Reid Gieseke Jr. and Stephen Gieseke; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
